150 Lagos Civil Servants Inducted Into Institute

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) has inducted 150 civil servants in the employ of the Lagos State government as associate members.
At the 55th induction held at the Alausa Secretariat, the President and Chairman of the Governing Council
Mr. Olusegun Mojeed charged the new inductees to change the trajectory of the civil service as human resource managers.
The induction was attended by the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro with 32 inductees admitted as full members while others were inducted as associate members.
The president said, “Today’s achievement, is another milestone in the Lagos State civil service towards professionalisation of the Admin/HR cadre and I would like to commend all the inductees for having exhibited remarkable qualities reflecting a unique combination of talent, passion, and commitment. These have earned them their new status as HR Professionals.”
