To ease movement and enhance the performance of its research extension centres, the management led by Prof. M.K Yakubu, Director-General/CEO of recent, has procured six project vehicles for its research extension centres situated in Maiduguri, Kano, Jos, and Sokoto.
According to the DG, the vehicles were procured to ease the movement of the Centre Managers, who are also Coordinators to the Institute’s research Clusters spread across their neighbouring States. Prof. Yakubu added that the procurement of the vehicles is in batches and that the next batch will be dispatched to the remaining extension centres. He, therefore, urged the Centre Managers to handle the vehicles with utmost care and make the best use of it.
Mallam Mikailu Sabo Abdullahi, the coordinator of the extension centres on behalf of the DG, presented the vehicles to the Centre Managers present at the Headquarters of the Institute in Zaria
