NILEST CEO Condoles Gwandu Emirate Over Emir Of Koko’s Death

The Chief executive officer of the Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology (NILEST), Prof. Mohammed Kabir Yakubu (Koko) has conveyed his condolence over the death of the Emir of koko, His Highness the late Mallam Bello Salihu Koko, he said the death is great lost to not only the immediate family of the emir but to the entire Koko emirate, Kebbi state and the country in general.

The condolence message made available to journalists stated that ‘‘It is with deep sorrow that on behalf of myself, family, management, Staff and Students of the Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology (NILEST), convey the heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended family, the good People of Koko and the entire Gwandu Emirate on the demise of His Highness the late Mallam Bello Salihu Koko, the 5th Ruler of Koko who joined his Ancestors on Friday 21st July, 2023.

“The passing of His Highness is indeed a great loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire People of Koko, the Gwandu Emirate, and the nation at large considering the enormous and numerous developmental activities carried out and the promotion of a peaceful and harmonious co-existence among his subjects during his reign as the King.

It is therefore our honest prayer that the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, give him Aljannatul firdausi and grant his family, the good People of Koko and the entire Gwandu Emirate Council the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
