The Kano State Government, says it has constituted Accelerated Revenue Drive Task Force Committee, to boost revenue generation in the state.
Dr Zainab Ibrahim, the Permanent Secretary, Kano Bureau for Land Management, stated this in a statement by Murtala Shehu, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Bureau, on Monday in Kano.
Ibrahim disclosed that the Committee would be headed by Sani Ado, the Director of Lands in the Bureau.
She said the committee divided into five sub committees was expected to mobilise people and promote tax compliance through adoption of customer friendly approach.
The statement also quoted Ado as saying that members of the committee would be committed to justify the confidence reposed in them.
