In a compassionate gesture, Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru, the General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, led a delegation comprising Christian leaders and concerned citizens to Old Pantake Market in the heart of Kaduna.

The purpose of their visit was to offer condolences and support to the victims of a recent fire incident that resulted in the loss of over 100 shops.

While fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident, properties and structures worth billions of Naira were consumed by the flames.

The Christian leader expressed deep sympathy for the victims and emphasized the need for solidarity in rebuilding the market.

He witnessed the devastation of numerous shops, many of which belonged to financially challenged traders and shop owners.

Pastor Buru called upon affluent individuals and corporate organizations to extend assistance to the affected parties.

Highlighting the urgency of collective efforts, he urged both the state government and corporate entities to join hands in facilitating the reconstruction of the market.

The pastor emphasized the importance of restoring the businesses of shop owners affected by the fire.

Additionally,Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru urged Imams and pastors across the 24 local governments in the state to continue praying for peace and unity in the region.

Similarly ,Alhaji Yanaya Ibrahim, a leader of the New Pantake Market along byepass expresssed road shared his condolences, expressing hope that such incidents would be prevented in the future.

In another response.the Federal Fire Service Kaduna State Command extended sympathies to the Kaduna State Government and the affected shop owners.

The command remains committed to providing essential support, including timely response, training, inspection, and investigation, to the affected traders and the broader community.
