In an effort to bring succour to women and children and the entire people of Zamfara state,
Wife of the Governor of the state, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal has rendered assistance to a triplet mother in Gusau.
The gesture includes Brocade numbering ten,Baby wears, Pomade,Toiletteries, Baby jelly among others.
In a statement Senior Special Assistant, Media and Communication, Zaharau Musa Issues to the newsman In Gusau.
Hajiya Huriyya who was represented by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communication office of the wife of the Governor, Hajiya Zara’u Musa said this magnanimity is aimed at showing sense of belonging and concern in this hard times.
Wife of the Governor rejoice with the mother and family and pray for her and the babies.
The triplet mother who forwarded her complain to the wife of the Governor on ill health of the babies, Hajiya Huriyya directed for the relocation of the triplet to Federal Medical Centre, Gusau for proper upkeep and medication.
But unfortunately, two out of the triplet died.
Recently, as a follow up, wife of the Governor have continued to show sympathy to the remaining surviving child who is under intensive care unit (ICU)at Federal Medical Centre, Gusau.
Though, he was discovered to have jaundice which resulted in the amputation of his hand.
Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal has not relented, she has spent over three hundred thousand naira on the remaining child and she donated items which include toiletteries,diapers, pampers and milk to the mother of the baby. Other babies lying in the intensive care unit were also recognized and assisted.
It would be recalled that, the triplet babies were delivered at king Fahd Abdulaziz women and children hospital, samaru, Gusau on the 31 January 2024 but as a result of poor condition, wife of the Governor directed for their relocation to FMC,Gusau.
Since the assumption of her husband as the duely elected governor of zamfara state, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal has not rested on her oars,she has been up and doing in making sure, women and children benefited both economically, socially, morally and financially.
She called on people of the state to continue to pray and rally round the present administration under her husband for them to benefit from dividend of democracy.
