Women’s Day: Women In Agriculture Calls For Inclusion In Credit Facilities

Zamfara Chapter of National Association of Women in Agriculture (NAWIA) has called for inclusion of Women in credit facilities and other developmental projects.

Women should be considered as part of the decision making in all the activities and 30% of leadership position should also be giving to women.

The State Chairperson of NAWIA, Hajiya Shemau Muhammad Nalado made the appeal at an event to mark the 2024 Women’s day held in Gusau on Saturday, adding that empowering with education, finance and skills acquisitions was a key to nations development.

“This is an international occasion celebrated all over the world and Zamfara is not left-out. Let’s us honour, respect and adore all the amazing women in all our life on this International Women’s Day, whether they are our mother, wife or daughter. Let’s demonstrate our pride in their achievements and commitment in build world free of all ills. She said

Women are the ones who brings life. And every woman is extraordinary, no matter where she find herself been at home or office. She is making a difference to the world around her, and most importantly played a vital role in the upbringing of children and making a home.

Also speaking at the Wife of Zamfara State Governor, Hajiya Huriya Lawal promise to support women of the state in agriculture and other human endeavour.

She said the agenda of Women in Agriculture had coincided with vision of my husband administration, therefore women will ne given all the required support to restored the glory of the state in agriculture.

“We are determine to see women in agriculture has reach every part of the state and continued to support them until we feed the whole nation.
