Traditional Title of Madaki Gudi: Mohammed Gadaka Deserved It And It’s A Call To Greater Service

The conferment of a prestigious traditional title of ‘Madaki Gudi’ on Yobe state Chairman of All progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka by the Emir of Gudi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Isa Bunuwo Ibn Madubu Khahji, is well deserved and its a call to greater service.
As a politician, businessman and philantrophists, Gadaka is a patriot who has offered himself to serve with loyalty, humility, and diligence. His underlying philosophical is being people oriented and people centered for a peaceful, united and prosperous state where all youths and elders are free to contribute their quota to nation building.
The conferment of the traditional title as Madaki was long overdue because of the laudable efforts of Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka to the development of Gudi Emirate and Yobe state in general.
The conferment/ appointment later reads “I am directed by His Royal Highness Alhaji Isa Bunuwo lbn Madubu Khahji the Emir of Gudi to write and convey to you that he has conferred on you and appoint you the prestigious title of “Madaki of Gudi”.
“This title is earned at the pleasure of His Royal Highness the Emir of Gudi by any outstanding citizen of good character and conduct and who emerged from the line of our tradition and culture of our kingdom.
“Its therefore the testimony of His Royal Highness the Emir of Gudi that you acquired these qualities that qualify you for this prestigious tittle.
“The Gudi Emirate Council therefore appreciate the action and decision of His Royal Highness the Emir of Gudi for choosing you to occupy this tittle with hope that you can uphold the honour and respect of Gudi Emirate Council.
No doubt, this is well deserved and a call for greater service to Gudi Emirate Council and the Yobe state in general, which Gadaka is not taking it lightly.
In his acceptance speech, Gadaka thanked the Emir of Gudi and the Emirate Council for conferring such important chieftaincy title on him assuring that he would use his office for the greater good of the Emirate Council and the state.
“This is an honour done to me personally, my family, friends and political associates. I pledge to be a good ambassador of the people and Gudi Emirate Council at all times.
“I will use my new office as Madaki to foster unity, protect and promote the norms, values and culture of the Emirate.
“I will also do my best to enhance good relationships between sons and daughters of Gudi Emirate, our good neighbors and beyond.” Gadaka assured.
