House of Representatives member, representing Tarun Federal Constituency, Hon. Muktari Umar Yarima, commenced the distribution of food to his constituents to assist them during the Ramadan period.
Items distributed includes: over 6000bags of rice, and asorted food items.
The gesture was also accompanied by a cash donation to the various categories of people.
Speaking during the distribution of the items, the Reps member said he took the decision, based on the challenges being faced by the people at this time, as a result of the harsh economic condition in the country.
