The Senator representing Bauchi Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Halliru Dauda Jika (Dokajin Bauchi) has in his usual generosity showered Eid-el fitr palliative worth N20 million to APC family and party stalwarts across the state.
According to the Director, ICT Unit in the office of the Senator, Shafiq Shehu Abdullahi, beneficiaries of the gesture included all former commissioners in the immediate past APC government in the state.
Others are former and present members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, former caretaker chairmen of all the 20 Local Government Areas, former Senior Special Assistants, and former Special Assistants.
Also in the gesture are all APC aspirants forum, Women and Youth Organizations, members of APC elders Forum, members of Achaba Association in Bauchi state, PDP Aspirants Forum, as well as Women’s Voters league.
Receiving the packages on behalf of the various recipients’ groups, their leaders expressed satisfaction with the purposeful representation of Sen. Halliru Jika in the National Assembly.
The representatives of the groups’, who noted that Jika made them proud both at state and national levels, enjoined others to emulate such kind gesture by the distinguished Senator.
