CP Abdulkarim Dauda Daura was born in the year 1963 at Daura Local Government area of Katsina State. He is married with two wives, six children and two grandchildren. He hold bachelor degree in public administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also hold diploma in police science from the Institute of leadership and management in United Kingdom.
Service Career
He was enlisted in to police Nigerian Police force in 1985 as cadet officer where he now rose to the rank Commissioner of police. he serve served in different police command and formations including Sokoto state command, Force CID Lagos, Katsina state command, Lagos State command, Edo state command, Police college Kaduna and Kano sate command.
He was posted to state house (villa) in June 2015. He became the chief personal security officer to President Muhammad Buhari. He is promoted to the rank of commissioner of police in 2018.
In the course of his career he attended several training, workshops, Courses both at home and abroad. He was recognized as an intelligent, honest and hardworking police officer that was always ready to give his best to serve this country. There is no question about his competency and integrity; he is a role model and aspiration to the upcoming youth. He lives an exemplary life that a lot of youth and upcoming generation can learn a lot from him.
He was a true humanitarian and philanthropist per excellent, a religious leader who has done a commendable job in terms of human and infrastructural development to his community.
His Added Qualities
He facilitate different infrastructures such as ; Building Juma’at Mosque at GRA Daura, super heading the renovation of Juma’at Mosque at LOWCOST Daura, an initiator of Federal Polytechnic and e-card records at Daura General Hospital and also facilitate the construction of Police Children School in Daura Local Government and others.
He recruits more than 400 youths into police force and 50 into teaching at police children school across the state.
He also facilitates the recruitment of about 20 youths into Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), 50 into Nigerian Civil Defense and Service Corps and more than 100 into road safety, Immigration and other government parastatals and agencies across Katsina state especially those who came from less privileged background.
He provides palliatives worth millions of naira during the recent cholera disaster at Funtua and Mai’adua Local Governments respectively.
He helps a lot of orphans and less privileged family in various aspects of life concerning health problem, education and other social needs.
He massively helps students with registration fees, payment for WAEC and NECO for a large number of less privileged students, facilitation of admission in to various schools and other educational needs by the students.
He carries he childhood friends along, thereby helping them at different aspects of life with shelter and other basic social needs.
If such kind of personality can get an opportunity and comes in to political power, there is no doubt our society will move to a greater height.
