A founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa, has urged Muslims to intensify prayers in the month of Ramadan for the country to overcome the economic, insecurity and other challenges facing it.
In a statement, Senator Marafa underscored the significance of collective prayer and solidarity as indispensable tools in navigating adversity.
Given Nigeria’s diverse religious landscape, which includes both Muslim and Christian communities, Senator Marafa’s call for unity resonates deeply, emphasizing the importance of fostering a sense of togetherness and common purpose.
Reminding Nigerians of their collective capacity to overcome adversity and forge a prosperous future, he said prayers, unity and patriotism, among others are the tools for the actualisation of the dreams of the country.
In the face of the daunting economic, insecurity and other challenges confronting our nation, it is imperative that we stand united.
“Irrespective of our religious beliefs, now it is the time for us to be united and fervently pray for the prosperity and tranquility of our beloved Nigeria.
“In this Holy month of Ramadan, let us harness the strength of prayer to steer our nation towards a brighter tomorrow. Our diversity is our strength, and through solidarity, we possess the ability to overcome any obstacle in our path,” he said.
