The famous foundation of Sarkin Koko Mallam Musa Foundation, headed by Ciroman Koko and a former All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives Candidate of Koko-Besse and Maiyama federal constituency, Hon. Shehu Mohammed Bello KoKo, have opened fourteen Ramadan feeding centres in Koko-Besse and Maiyama local government Areas of Kebbi state.
The fourteen (14) centres opend, in each place, at least one hundred (1,400) people will be feeds with the food that that will be enough to break he or she fasting every day.
According to him the foundation, every day a total of one thousand four hundred (1,400) persons will be feeds with the food that they will break their fasting in each of the centres established in the aforementioned LGAs throughout the period of 30 days of Ramadan.
” The foundation have the total number of Nineteen thousand six hundred people whom will be feeds with a food that will be enough to break their fasting in the aforementioned centres across the two LGAs, in this holy month of Ramadan, where currently, 1,400 are being feeds every day”.
The places where the feeding is taking place include:- Sarkin Muhammadu Bello Mosque Koko, Friday Mosque Maiyama, Friday Mosque Besse, Emir palace of Koko, emir palace of Sarkin Kudun of Maiyama and emir palace of Sarkin Besse, emir palace of Sarkin Sudan of Lani.
Others are behind NEPA office Koko, Friday Jumaat Mosque Damba Town, Friday Jumaat Mosque Zaria Kala-Kala, Elephant NUT Shop, Koko General Hospital, Friday Jumaat Mosque Dutsin- Mari and than Koko Mayor’s House.
The food parkage in each centres, include, Rice/Egg and cold Water, Kunu and Kosai every day until the end 30 days of Ramadan period insha Allah.
The chairman of the said foundation, Hon. Shehu Mohammed Bello KoKo, appealed to people entrusted with these feeding centres across two LGAs to have fear of GOD in discharging their duties as confidence was reposed on them.
He call on people of the two LGAS to devote themselves and their time to redouble their efforts in worshipping Almighty Allah in this month of Ramadan, because of the importance and alot of rewards attach to this month of Ramadan.
Adding that “prayed for peace, unity and stability of our economy and also our leaders both at the state and federal level to be able to discharge their statutory mandate and the confidence reposed on them”. He appealed.
He further admonished our Islamic clerics to use this month of Ramadan to preach to people to be close to Allah and assist one another and also to maintain peace and order.
” I’m calling on well to do individual to use their mean of wealth to assist poor, vulnerable and less privilege people within the localities especially in this month of Ramadan where people are need of assistance”. He called.
