The Director-General/CEO, NILEST, Prof. Muhammed Kabir Yakubu, has rejoice with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir celebration, the message was contained in a press statement signed by Director General released to Journalist in Zaria on Monday.
‘’We thank the Almighty Allah for the success of this year’s EID-EL-KABIR. Eid is a reminder to every Muslim to place their faith in the compassion and wisdom of Allah (SWT) and, to be obedient to His instructions as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim who by his actions, demonstrated true Islam and total submission to Allah (SWT). Prophet Ibrahim understood that the ways and commands of the Almighty Allah are supremely more life-given and enlightening than that of Man thus, as we celebrate this year’s EID-EL-KABIR, let us use the moment to re-dedicate ourselves to greater adherence to the spiritually-enriching commands of the Almighty Allah (SWT) and show the true spirit of Islam in our daily lives.’’
The message added that, “On behalf of the Governing Board, Management, Staff and Students of NILEST, I extend my sincere and warmest Sallah greetings to the Muslim Ummah worldwide. Happy and peaceful celebration.”
