As the economic hardship in the country continued to bite harder among millions of Nigerians especially the deprived class, a non-governmental organisation, (NGO), Zeb-Faith Foundation International, has sought the support of the Federal Government and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to assist in the fight against poverty and despondency.
Country Director and Representative of the Foundation, Mr Chinnaya Chikwado, represented by the Founder/CEO, Amb. Daniel Newman, stated this when the team donated food items to Amazing Grace Old People’s Home in Kado, and Hope for Survival Orphanage in the Gishiri area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, to enable them celebrate the Yuletide season.
Chikwado said the gesture was in line with their core value to support and uplift the lives of many underprivileged persons and elderly, noting that the donations were a selfless deed from the Founder and his partners to cushion the economic hardship in the country.
The group also lamented the lack of support from government just as it appealed to well-meaning Nigerians, corporate organisations and international bodies to support their activities.
Founder, Amazing Grace People Home, Ifeyinwa Obegolu and Coordinator, Hope for Survival Orphanage, expressed appreciation to the donor and his team for putting smiles on their faces, noting that the gestures have set standard for other NGOs to emulate in Nigeria and indeed Africa.
