NDLEA Honours Kwara Governor Over Drug War

Kwara State command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has decorated the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, as an ambassador of the war against drug abuse in recognition of his efforts in fighting the menace.
The governor was decorated when the NDLEA commander in the state, Mohammed Bashir Ibrahim, led his team on a courtesy visit at the Government House in Ilorin.
In his remarks, the commander said the purpose of the visit was to intimate the governor on the rate of drug abuse in the state and seek more support and assistance of the state government against the menace.
Responding, the governor pledged the government’s continued assistance for the agency in the fight.
AbdulRazaq thanked the NDLEA commander and his team for their commitment to a drug-free society.
