La’ori Donates Cash, Football and Jerseys To Clubs In Kwah Community In Lamurde

The Rt.Hon member of reps representing Numan/Demsa/Lamurde federal Consttiency Kwamoti La’ori, who was represented by his Aide Dr.A J Dennis, donated football, jerseys and cash to encourage youth sports development and promote unity in Kwah.

Impressed by the love, peace and unity among youth, demonstrated during his visit to commission a block of 3 classrooms in Kwah, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti promised to support youth clubs and football teams in the area.

A week after, the promise was fulfilled, donations were made in the presence of Hama Kwah Chief Nickson Tamuna, the Chairman, Kwah Community Devt. Association Mr. Pharon Agodi, among other stakeholders.

In his speech Pastor Zaro Kwah urged the youth to eschew violence, live in peace and engage only in meaningful ventures to better their lots.

The representatives of the clubs were full of praise and appreciation for the law maker; also prayed God to continue to protect and guide him to do more.

In another development, Rt Hon Kwamoti La’ori, urge the private sector to involvement in developing sports in Nigeria.

La’ori started this during the final of JAGAMATO unity football competition in Ganye, Ganye local government Adamawa state.

According to the law maker who was the special guest at the occasion said  sports development should not be left for government alone stressing that private sector investment in sports increases the chances of sports personal and also help governments develop both in facilities and human development.

“We are gathered here today to witness the final match of the competition and you can the joy in people faces, they have all come out in their numbers”

“One good about this competition is that the sponsor, Hon Inuwa Bassi, my friend and colleague in the national assembly has brought FIFA accredited agent who have already identified over 10 players that will be taken to Europe for trials.

“This gesture will go a long way in developing the youths, their families and the government will also have their own share of their success.

We are the national assembly is also trying to make laws that will see that we have good sporting facilities in every part of this country.

“When our youths are engaged in sporting activities, crime and criminality will be reduced ” he said
