Kebbi Appeal Court Victory: It’s truth Reflection For Democracy – Gov. Idris

Gov. Nasir Idris of Kebbi has described Appeal Court Judgement as truth reflection for democracy and people of the state.

Dr. Nasir Idris made the statement while addressing members of the executive council, other top government officials and party supporters who trooped to the Government House to rejoice with him in Birnin Kebbi on Friday.

“Thank God for the victory before and now. We have witnessed another milestone as the court of appeal sitting in Abuja gave its verdicts of truth reflection of Kebbi electorate’s.

” The Kebbi people have spoken from day one through their mandate to the APC and its candidates. This is due to their confidence in APC led administration,” he said.

Gov. Nasir expressed confidence in the judiciary that it would deliver justice,saying it had manifested itself today as Kebbi people are now rejoicing that their votes has count.

“The victory has now given renewed vigour to continue with the developmental projects already started across the state.

“We will deliver dividends of democracy, which is a must for us to deliver,” he said.

He reiterated his opened invitation to the opposition across party line to join the APC – led administration to give the best to the people of the state if they had the interest of the people at heart.

The governor thanked the APC ruling party, the legislature, the state executive council members, Security agencies and the teeming followership for their support, cooperation and loyalty to his administration.

Earlier, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Yakubu Bala-Tafida, who spoke on behalf of the people of the state, expressed his happiness on the victory, saying the victory would reinforce the capability and ability of the governor to serve the people of the state deligently.
