The state Government has concluded all necessary arrangements for the inauguration of the community protection guards.
The community protection guards numbering two thausand six hundred and fifty four will be inaugurated on thirty first of January 2024.
This was announced by the Secretary to the state Government Mal. Abubakar M. Nakwada while speaking during the passing out parade of the new in-take immigration officers held at immigration office headquarters Gusau.
Mal. Abubakar M Nakwada who represented Governor Dauda Lawal said, the present administration is working tirelessly with the military and para- military security agencies with a view to addressing insecurity challenges across the state.
According to him, considering the existing Cordial relationship between the state Government and security agencies, community protection guards was established to assist security personnel in the fight against banditry.
He said Government was happy with existing Cordial relationship and synergy with military and para- military agencies.
The SSG said all the positive results that have been recorded in the area of security was not originally the Government idea but with the support and guidance of the conventional forces working in the state.
Mal. Abubakar M. Nakwada on behalf of Governor Dauda Lawal, wished the new in-take immigration officers Allah’s guardiance and protection.
