Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has constituted a committee to work out modalities for the implementation of all outstanding promotions of civil servants in the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by Nicholas Aboki, the Head of Civil Service, a copy of which was made available to newsmen on Friday in Lafia.
According to the statement, the committee is to submit its report within two months time.
It added that the constitution of the committee followed the need to ascertain and address grey areas in the placement and computation of outstanding promotions and salary arrears for necessary action.
The committee headed by Phillip Dada, Commissioner of Works, Housing and Transport, has representatives from the organised labour.
