Federal University Gashua Mouns Former Yobe State Governor

The management of Federal University Gashua (FUGA), join the good people of Yobe State and the nation in mourning the passing Sen. Bukar Abba Ibrahim, former governor of the state and former Senator representing Yobe East Senatorial District with grief.

Sen. Ibrahim died at Saudi-Germany Hospital in Mekka Saudi Arabia on Sunday 4th February at the age of 75 after a protracted illness.

In a condolence letter signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Maimuna Waziri, expressed the management’s heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, government and the good people of Yobe State over the passing away of Alh. (Dr) Bukar Abba Ibrahim, the former governor of Yobe State.

“We came from Allah and to Him we shall all return. May Allah in His infinite mercies forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannah Firdausi and give his family, government, the entire people of the state and beyond the fortitude to bear the loss, Amin.” She said.
