Emir Of Gwandu Urges The New District Of Koko To Embrace All

The emir of Gwandu in Kebbi State, Alhaji Muhammad Bashir Iliyasu had call on the newly turbaned district head of Koko, Sarkin Koko Malam Muhammad Bello Koko to as a matter policy embrace and work with all his subjects irrespective of their religious and political affiliation.
The emir made call in his speech he delivered shortly after a colorful ceremony which took place at the emir palace in Gwamdu over the weekend, he also stated that embracing everyone will be a great assets to him in the discharged of his duty and it will go along way in bringing closer to the people.
He also request parents to watch over their children and ensure that they are  moving with friends that will influence them positively so that they may not end up derailing to habits that can harm and be a treat to their well being, habits like drug addiction and other social vices.
The emir of Gwandu also congratulate the new Sarkin Koko on his turbaning and reiterated that he and others know him as a responsible person and disciplinarian and should therefore used the skill in improving the social well being of his people. He said his appointment is well deserved as he is one of those that preach peaceful
coexistence in that entire Kebbi State.
In his remark, the new Sarkin Koko, Malam Bello Sarkin Koko extend his appreciation to the state government and the emir and promise to do his best in the discharged of his duties, he promise to do his best in ensurering that the relative peace the emirate is enjoying in recent years has come to stay, he also employed the support of his subjects in the tasked ahead.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries and well wishers from within and outside the state.
