In her bid to help in curtailing the spread of the deadly pandemic coronavirus, the head of department of Mirobiology and deputy dean faculty of life sciences Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Professor Maryam Aminu has donate face masks and hand sensitizers to Samaru community in Sabon Gari Local Government of Kaduna state. Prof. Maryam Aminu also sponsored and carried out sensitization and campaign against the spread coronavirus in Zaria on most some media houses in Zaria.
Professor Maryam has made a lot of donations of face masks and hand sensitizers in most of the media houses she made her broadcast in Zaria, she is planning to launch the production of radio jingles both in English and Hausa languages to educate the populace in Zaria and environs.
Professor Maryam is the first Professor to organized a campaign against this Coronavirus Pandemic in Zaria and she also promise to organised a workshop to enlighten he University Community on the steps to take to protect one from contacting the deadly disease.
She has also took her campaign to the University Teaching Hospital and also visited some media houses in and Zaria where she hold discussion on the need to adhere to professional advice in he fight against coronavirus pandemic.
