Bakyasuwa Kicks Against Appointment Of Yandoto As Zamfara CPG Commandant

The immediate past Commandant of Zamfara Anti-Thuggery Agency, Bello Soja Bakyasuwa has kicked against the recent appointment of Col. Rabiu Yandoto Rtd, as state commandant of Community Protection Guards by the Zamfara state governor Dauda Lawal.

Bakyasuwa stated this in a statement made available to newsmen in Gusau Monday .

Bakyasuwa described the appointment of Yandoto as uncalled for.

Honestly Rabi’u Yandoto is not qualified to be a even a member of CPG considering various irregularities in his record.

He further said that Yandoto is not professionally qualified to hold the position.

“The fight against insecurity required people with proven integrity, transparency and accountability.

Bakyasuwa called on Governor Dauda Lawal to review Yandoto’s appointment and appoint some body with good records, credibility and integrity to manage the CPG.

“I am also calling on Governor Dauda to avoid making a similar mistakes by the previous administrations in the state where incompetent persons in managing the security sector of the state were appointed.
