The Adamawa State Police Command in collaboration with other security agencies have been placed on high red alert to deal with any miscreant during and after Maulud celebration. SP Suleiman Nguroje, command spokeperson, disclosed this in a statement issued in Yola on Tuesday. He said security is ready to deal with any group of miscreants who may be planning to do any act capable of threatening or disrupting the peace of the public. “The command operational/manpower assets is on high gear to sustain the designed security template in keeping Adamawa safe and secured,” he said. He advised residents to go about their celebration without any fear and shun all forms of violence and be law abiding.  “Your safety and security is our concern, so report any suspicious movement around your neighbourhood to the police. “Give timely and actionable information to security agents,” he said. Nguroje further urged the general public to cooperate with the security agents deployed and submit themselves for searching if need be.
