Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders association of Nigeria ( ACOMORAN) has approved the automatic tenure guarantee of four years to Kebbi State executive officers under the chairmanship of Nafi’u Zaki effect from 3rd July 2023.
This was disclosed via a confirmation letter dated 3rd July 2023, signed jointly by the National President Alh. Muh’d Sani Hassan and union Secretary chief Daramola R. Williams and sent to Kebbi State Chapter of ACOMORAN Chairman.
The confirmation read” Reference to the National General Meeting of ACOMORAN that was held in Kano, Kano state on 22nd May 2023, where it was resolved and agreed to give automatic tenure guarantee of four years to ACOMORAN officers from the unit to the National level and by the ACOMORAN Constitutional provisions, we are hereby convey the National Headquarters approval of your appointment as confirmed Kebbi State executive officers effective from 3rd July 2023″.
The letter further read” Eighteen officers is hereby approved and confirmed. However the National Secretariat appreciate the Kebbi State past effort for keeping the flag of ACOMORAN flying in the state and urges them to do more for taken the union to the greater level of success.
” The state leadership are to purchase all its working materials from National Headquarters, these includes daily ticket, ID Cards, Membership forms, and yearly stickers. All these is to avoid illegal and unwanted printing of working materials. Adding that proper care of registration and financial contributing members in the state”. As contained in confirmation letter.
In an interview with our correspondent, State Chairman of ACOMORAN, Nafi’u Zaki commended national body of his union for founding them worthy for confirmation of four years guarantee tenure. He assured that ” I would do more to ensure that as the state chairman deliver to the expectation . He however, promises to give equal treatment to all members and to ensure rapid development of the union.
He than call on his Officers and registered members to also work hard for the welfare being of all members and ensure prompt payment of their financial contributions as when due and to continued support and respect to the provisions of the union constitution.
Equally, He sounds a warning to all members to desist from any forms of criminality while operating as members of Kebbi State ACOMORAN. He appealed to all members not engage in fighting or clash with any security agent while operating on the road. In the case of any disagreement occurred between them and Security operatives, members are advise to report to union leadership immediately for necessary action. ” He emphasing on cooperation and being law abiding members. Chairman emphasise”.
Chairman further explained that the union would not be a party to any conduct or attitude of disrespecting of any Security operatives while performing their statutory duties.
