West African Seasoning Company Ltd., producer of AJI-NO-MOTO®, has organized a cooking competition and introduced a new DeliDawa fermented locus beans seasoning to women at the ‘MATA conference 2021.’Tagged, “‘The Woman and her Girls,” the competition held in Kano on Sunday 5th December, 2021 at Meena event Centre.
The Corporate communication and public relation manager of the company Francisca Ikediashi explained that the newly introduced DeliDawa is made from fermented locust bean and has the same taste and aroma of the Local Daddawa with added flavours.
Francisca said the DeliDawa is produced under a strict hygienic environment with qualitative packaging, easy to open and use without any inconvenience of grinding. It does not have any pungent smell and so can be taken all over the world without any problem.
In his address, the Assistant General Manager Of West African Seasoning Company Ltd., Malam Isa Hassan Shallangwa, said the purpose of organizing the cooking competition is to use the opportunity to showcase the products, especially the DeliDawa to Kano People. Shallangwa also explained how they can use it to achieve perfect cooking.
He said DeliDawa made from the same ingredients of local Daddawa in a modern way, and is without the smell as local Daddawa, so they can get whatever teats they may like from local Daddawa in DeliDawa.
He adds that the cooking competition organized in Kano brought well talented and professional cooks, who are using Ajino Moto and DeliDawa in making their traditional and modern cooking with good teats.
In her response the winner of the cooking competition, Esther Jackson Usman said she is very happy with the victory. She appreciates the company for making AJI-NO-MOTO® and DeliDawa products which promotes deliciousness and adds value to her cooking and advice women everywhere to always use the DeliDawa in their cooking.
Among the five MATA women contestant of the cooking competition, Esther Jackson Usman became the first winner by cooking Ogono soup and semovita.
Aisha Mahdi came second with Miyan Kuka and Tuwon Masara while Safiya Tanko Sabo won the third position by cooking Taushe Soup and Masa. All the five contestants were awarded with gift prizes from the beautiful display which includes fridge, Sets of cooking pots, Coolers and participants had went home with souvenir gifts and product samples from West African Seasoning Company.
Also AJINOMOTO Ambassador, Maryam Booth was there to inform the women and participants on how to continue to use AJINOMOTO in their cooking for that ideal deliciousness.
