The journey one million miles start with a step, but with commitment and determination the distance does not matter if one can reach his final destination. One of the features of every democratic government is its ability to respond to people’s call at all times particular calls that are meaningful and purposive that will improve the life of the common man. It is indeed clear and right to express the current Buhari’s administration a purely legitimate democratic government that has the zeal of providing the necessary social and infrastructural facilities that will improve the well-being of its people.
It is on this note that, the government under the leadership of President Buhari today performed the ground breaking ceremony at the proposed permanent site of University of Transportation Daura in its efforts to fulfill its promises of providing sound and qualitative education to its people.
It is indeed imperative to commend the effort of the Honourable Minister of Transportation in ensuring the commencement of this giant project at this material time in modernizing our railway transportation through manpower development that will provide the needed work force for effective service delivery and localization of maintenance by indigenous Engineers in the area.We pray that, the CCECC that will execute this project will commence and complete the work within the stipulated time as scheduled in order to commence academic program.
The best quality of a leader in addition to patience is given listening ears to the legitimate call of the ordinary people which Baba Buhari demonstrated by responding to this call positively which led to the establishment of University of Transportation Daura.
