Kano Pillars Players, Officials Begin Four-Day Break

Kano Pillars Football Club’s management has given its players a four-day break to enable them prepare for the second stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Rilwan Malikawa, the club’s Media Officer, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Kano.

“The four-day break, which is from Wednesday to Sunday, will enable the players and the technical crew rest and prepare ahead of the league’s second stanza.

Malikawa quoted the club chairman as warning that no player would be allowed to travel outside Kano because the aim of the break was for them to rest.

Sirajo Shuaibu, the club chairman, thanked the state government, fans, players and coaches for their efforts and successes recorded in the first half of the season.

He also restated the club’s commitment to reinforce the team with quality players.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kano Pillars ended the first round in second position in the log with 36 points.(NAN)
