Member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam in the House of Representatives, Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has lost his Dad, Malam Adamu Yusuf Gagdi, after a brief illness in Plateau State.
This was stated in a statement released by the lawmaker on Thursday which was obtained by THE MAIL NEWS ONLINE.
According to the statement, the biological father of the lawmaker died in the early hours of Thursday.
He said: “With a heavy heart, but total submission to the supreme will of the Almighty Allah, I, Yusuf Adamu GAGDI announce the shocking death of my biological father, Mallam Adamu Yusuf Gagdi, whose death occurred in the early hours of today after a brief illness Until his death, Mallam Adamu was a renowned and respectable Islamic scholar and was the Imam of a mosque in Gum-Gagdi.
“Burial is scheduled for 4pm today, 16th July, 2020 at Gum-Gagdi.
“May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant his gentle soul Jannatul Firdaus, Amen.”
