We are conducting for the Nasarawa local government council Chairman to bring development to the area considering how it has become a setback in some aspects of the development of the life of its people.
Hon. Mohammed Adamu Gama (bomboy) said this while speaking to journalists about his contest for Nasarawa local government chairmanship.
Adding that the purpose of democracy is to bring the government closer to the people, especially in the local government level, but there is always a weakness for this from some who held the local government in the past.
He said that when you look at the education, health sectors and immorality behaviors among some youths who are involved in bad things there is need for to made good efforts in sector, the safety of education to address the issues..
Hon Bombay said that is among the he came to run for Nasarawa local government chairmanship with the good intention of changing the direction of the local government the community will understand that there is good government close to them that will serve them better.
He pointed out that his contest is not for do or die, but he has the plans for development of Nasarawa local Government which includes improving the education system because there are many primary and secondary schools both models and secular and Islamic schools , but you cannot point among all of them which becomes popular.
He said that he has intention to bring reforms in accordance with the Kano state Government’s policy on state of emergency on education and to collaborate with non governmental organizations.He will create a good environment for learning and teaching between teachers and students.
He further said that in the health sector, they have 18 primary health care centres iin Nasarawa local Government but all of them are not have no good clean environment no good toilets,there is no water this is a great failure.
He said that they will renovate the Hospitals and make their environment clean for good provision of healthcare services. Then, there are many graduates who studied in health institutions and do not work t,hey will employeed them as casual health workers to serves in the primary health care s in the areas of the local Government.
Bombay said that he will create ways to train young people in many different skills activities and support with them capital to become self-reliant to help themselves, relatives their community. And to rehabilitated on good morals that will prevent them from using illucite drugs to useful in society.
Hon.Mohammed Adamu Gama “bomboy” added that they will restore the reputation of the Government staffs their rights will be given and trained them to gain experience in the quality of work and adherence to honesty and trust to promote the development of Nasarawa local government.
