Governor Buni Mourns Bulama, Undergraduate Studying In India

Governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has received with deep sorrow and sadness the sudden death of Galadima Bulama, Yobe state student schooling in India, who died in an accident.

Governor Buni said “it is with total submission to the will of Allah (SWT) that we received the sad news of the death of one of our students studying in India, Galadima Bulama.

“It is saddening that the young man with a bright future died at this time but, as Muslims, we believed it is the will of Allah (SWT).

“On behalf of myself, the government and people of Yobe state that l condole the family of late Galadima with a very heavy heart” he said.

The governor prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased in Aljannatur Firdausi and to the family, the fortitude to bear the loss.

Galadima, one of 233 students sponsored by the Yobe state government , was an undergraduate of Medical Laboratory,died this morning due to injuries he sustained in a motor accident yesterday.

Galadima went to buy a handset telephone and was disembarking from the bus when he missed a step,  hit his head and sustained internal injuries.

Until his death, the deceased received the best Medical attention, as the school authority and the hospital where he was admitted had remained in touch with the state government.

Meanwhile, Galadima will be buried in India according to Islamic rites on the authority of his parents and the state government.

A government delegation has been drafted to pay official condolence to the family of late Galadima.
