Gov. Badaru Receives Students Of American University

The Executive Governor of Jigawa state Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar MON, mni says his administration is committed to the development of the people of the state.

The governor stated this when he received students of Maryam Abacha American University, Maradi in the Niger Republic who visited government house, Dutse as part of their internship training in Jigawa state.

According to the students they paid a courtesy visit to governor Mohammed  Badaru Abubakar as part of their 6-month internship training in the state.

The students of medical and other health sciences of the Niger-based university established in 2013 were at the government house to formally introduce themselves to the governor and also to honor him in appreciation of his tireless efforts.

Speaking during the visiting governor Muhd Badaru Abubakar who welcome them to Jigawa state also appreciated the effort of the university for according top priority to the state.

He also charged them to make good use of the peaceful atmosphere of the state and study hard.

The governor added that his administration is committed to the development of the state.

In his address earlier, the leader of the entourage who is also a staff in the university Ado Shehu Ringim said they selected Jigawa State for this year’s students internship training in recognition of governor Badaru’s giant stride in the development of the
