Muhammadu Buhari of revoking his business interests over political differences.
LEADERSHIP recalls that a logistics firm, INTELS Nigeria Ltd, owned by Atiku, was handling pilotage contracts for oil companies at the Nigerian seaports for years before the advent of Buhari administration in 2015.
Atiku, who’s the presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2023 general election, disclosed this at a world press conference on his discovery of the academic records of President Bola Tinubu at the Chicago State University (CSU), in Abuja on Thursday.
The businessman cum politician, who was responding to a question on a possible backlash of his latest political advocacy on his business interests, said: “I was the founder of one of the biggest logistics companies since the military era, and as soon as Buhari came, even though we had licences and we had nothing to do with government. We are just contractors to the oil companies.
“As soon as Buhari came, all those contracts were revoked and taken away from us till today. So, I am not doing any government business.
“So, I am not scared of any business being taken away from me, it has already been taken away from me since the Buhari administration. Th pey took it and distributed out among themselves,” Atiku stated.
