Bauchi Governor’s SCOP Donates 3 Cars,15 Motorcycles

The Chief Protocol Officer to the Bauchi State Governor, Alhaji Umar Hassan has donated 3 cars,15 motorcycles worth millions of naira pledging more support to those assisted his boss.

At the presentation of the donated vehicles in Azare, the Headquarters of Katagum Local Government Area of the state, Umar Hassan said the gesture is to appreciate the beneficiaries for their outstanding contribution towards the victory of the governor during the conduct of the last gubernatorial election in the state.

The Chief Protocol said the gesture is to compliment the efforts of Governor Bala Mohammed in the delivery of dividends of democracy to the citizens of the state.

“I am happy that today I brought this vehicles to our people who participated fully in ensuring the victory of Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, Kauran Bauchi in the last election, Alhamdulillah my ambition for assisting those assisted us during campaigns.

“You can recall that, my boss was sworn in last year Ramadan and I am among the first appointees of the Governor, people will see unexpected development under the leadership of Sen. Bala Mohammed.

According to him, he has considered as important, assisting and supporting people who worked in the People’s Democratic Party’s campaign council.

He assured to come up with empowerment programmes in order to enable large number of people to benefit.

On educational intervention programmes, Umar Hassan said in the last one year of the administration of his boss, he has supported the education of over 150 youths and women within katagum zone.

The Chief Protocol who assured Governor Bala Mohammed of working round the clock towards ensuring the success of his administration, enjoined his colleagues appointed by the governor to work as team so as to achieve the desired objectives.

The Vice Chairman PDP North Central of the state, Alhaji Yayanuwa Zainabari who witnessed the historical event, called on all the political appointees to emulate the gesture in order to reduce burden on government.

“This is the kind of people we want in our society because delivering dividends of democracy should not only left in hands of Governor.”

Yayanuwa Zainabari said the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed has recorded remarkable achievements in critical sectors of the economy within the first one year in office.
