Mashi Local Government Area of Katsina State has suspended its former chairman, Armaya’u Bala Doka.
The suspension is contained in a statement signed by the Acting Chairman of the chapter, Alhaji Sanusi Muntari Doguru which was also signed by 24 party executives from Karau ward from where Armaya’u Doka hails.
The statement explained that the suspension was based on a meeting by APC executives from Karau ward executives who accused the suspended chairman of insubordination and disrespect for party elders and political office holders under the platform of the party.
The letter of suspension was also copied to the state executive committee of the party as specified by the party constitution.
The suspended former chairman, Armaya’u Bala Doka was the one who addressed a press conference in Katsina where he notified newsmen that he will lead a mission to recall the member representing Mashi/Dutsi at the House of Representatives, Alhaji Mansur Ali Mashi who was allegedly heard in an unverified audio criticizing the style of leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The lawmaker has reported the issue to security agencies to investigate and verified the audio which is being circulated.
However, up to the time of filing this report, APC Mashi Local Government chapter is yet to comment on the unverifed audio or the lawmaker that is alleged to be heard in the audio clip.
Meanwhile with the suspension of Armaya’u Bala Doka, he has ceased to be a member of the APC pending a decision by the APC State chapter on the matter.
