NAHCON Participates In Holy City Tree Planting Around Muna Holy Sites

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Chairman CEO Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi OON, fwc was today represented by Dr. Aliyu Tanko, Makkah Coordinator, and at a unique initiative of tree planting exercise that aimed at cooling the environment in and around the vicinity of the Holy Site of Muna. With the projection of very high temperature, this Hajj, initiative of planting trees is quite handy.
The exercise was conducted under the umbrella of Pioneers Cooperative Agricultural Society with a theme/phrase: “Let Us Plant It.”
The target is to plant twenty (20) trees and two thousand (2,000) flowers at the intersection of the Main Entrance of Muna Holy Site (while coming from Makkah City) and Muzdalifah Way.
This is in partnership with the Makkah Municipality and relevant stakeholders.
