A member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Mr Nuhu  Shadalafiya has called on youth in the state to make use of the social media  responsively in the interest of humanity.

Shadalafiya, who represents Kagarko constituency, gave the advice on Tuesday in Kaduna when he received the President of Crock City Foundation, a community advancement initiative, who paid him a courtesy visit.

He said that the youth must use the social media platforms  to transform their lives and contribute to societal development.

” You should see social media as a platform that can make yourselves empowered socially, economically and politically, not for negativity.”

He particularly urged youth in southern Kaduna to be positively focused on transforming their lives and the state in general.

“Please don’t disappoint me, I want to see you leading in transforming Kaduna state socially, economically and politically.”

The lawmaker thanked the group for the visit and encouraged them to continue with the good work they were doing especially in promoting Kaduna state, the youth and good governance.

He appreciated the organization for honouring him and encouraged them to keep searching for more talents, promote them and make them useful to the society.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that the award to Shadalafiya was for his contribution to his constituency and in carrying the people along.

He pledged to come up with bills and motions that would impact positively on the lives of the people.
