Kebbi State Governor Appoints Special Adviser On Communication And Strategy

Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State – Governor Nasir Idris has appointed Alhaji Abdullahi Idris-Zuru as Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, according to a press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Idris, on Friday.

The appointment letter, signed by Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, emphasized the expectation of total commitment, devotion, and professional capability in discharging his responsibilities.

 

Abdullahi-Zuru, a seasoned journalist, brings extensive experience and competence to the role. His career spans over three decades, with notable positions in prominent media outlets, including Concord Group of Newspapers, Daily Trust Newspapers, and This Day Newspapers. He also served as Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to former Kebbi State Governor Sen. Adamu Aliero and as Media Adviser in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The appointment is effective immediately, with Abdullahi-Zuru expected to leverage his expertise to enhance communication and strategy in the governor’s office.
