Kebbi State First Lady, Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has donated N3.75 million to support orphans in Argungu Emirate. The donation includes N5,000 each to 550 orphans and N1 million to Mar’atu Salihah, a non-governmental organization that cares for orphans and the less privileged.
The First Lady attended a free feeding program organized by Mar’atu Salihah at the Palace of the Emir of Argungu, where she emphasized the importance of supporting orphans as mandated by Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
She also reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to improving the quality of life for orphans, the needy, and the less privileged.
The Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammadu Mera, thanked the First Lady for her philanthropic gesture and prayed for the success of her husband’s administration. The Coordinator of NASARA Foundation, AbdulRasheed Bala, announced the donations on behalf of the First Lady.
