Yobe State Government under the leadership of Mai Mala Buni has come up with a good plan to improve the future of children who are found in large numbers on the main roads in the state and build them on the pursuit of education and development of their lives.
This success was achieved due to the dedication and commitment of the executive Secretary of the Yobe State. Arabic and Islamic Education Board (AISEB), Malam Umar Abubakar.
The executive Secretary has a good testimony since his appointment on 9-10-2023 until now he has carried out many development projects that are now being proud of in the Yobe state.
The board has provided a computer for the judges of the Qur’an recitation contest to improve the affairs of the contest in the state, and it has provided a computer in all the departments in the board to improve the work among staffs
Under the leadership of the executive Secretary of Arabic and Islamic Education Board Yobe State, Malam Umar Abubakar, the Islamic students were provided with learning materials and improved their accomodations.It also and paid the fees for 50 students to enter the pre-secondary schools.
The Yobe government made efforts to sponsor 32 students from Yobe state to study at Al-Azhar University in further more established
“Al-azhar Secondary School” in Yobe state to solve the problems faced by students of the state while applying for scholarships in Egypt.
Among the activities that the board is making under the leadership of Malam Umar Abubakar, it includes improvement of the lives of poor women by identifying them and giving them business equipment including sewing machines and other things to be self-reliant..
The Arabic and Islamic Education Board in Yobe State has played a vital role in overseeing the development of Qur’ani students’.
Such efforts and, zeal and courage made made by executive Secretary of the Board Malam Umar Abubakar gained him more respect within and outside the state he receives many awards and honors from various places and titles including “Khadimul Qur’an”, “Khadimul Ummah”. “Khadimul Tsangaya and Islamiyoyi Yobe State” “He is also popularity known as “Baban almajirai”
