Member of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Garba Rabiu- Kamba, has distributed 600 bags of fertilizer to farmers in his Dandi/Arewa federal constituency in Kebbi State for free of charge.
Rabiu -Kamba, while distributing the items, urged farmers to improve their farming engagements to ensure food security in the country. He noted that the state government had recently distributed fertilizer worth billions of naira to farmers and that his effort was meant to complement the state government’s initiative.
The beneficiaries, who cut across party, religious, and ethnic lines, were advised to make the most of the commodity to ensure a bumper harvest. Rabiu- Kamba also cautioned against diverting the product for other purposes.
Additionally, he announced plans to assist over 100 secondary school students with NECO fees and to establish an empowerment scheme for youths.
Rabiu- Kamba also urged electorates to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Local Government polls.
The District Head of Kamba, Alhaji Muhammadu Zarumai, commended the lawmaker for his timely gesture, while beneficiaries appreciated the lawmaker’s kindness and prayed for his continued support.
