Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris, has been recognized by GB Foods, a leading food processing company, for his efforts in creating a conducive environment for agri-business development in Kebbi State.
The honor was bestowed upon the Governor during a ceremony at GB Foods’ factory in Trujillo, Spain. Governor Idris praised GB Foods for their innovative approaches to agriculture and food processing, and expressed interest in collaborating with the company to involve local farmers in tomato production and transfer advanced farming techniques from Spain.
GB Foods commended the Governor’s dedication to agri-business development and expressed willingness to partner with the Kebbi State government to transfer knowledge, technology, and expertise to local farmers.
The Governor was accompanied by key government officials, including the Secretary to the State Government, Commissioner for Agriculture, and others. They have since returned safely to Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
