Eid-el-Fitr: Niger State SSG Urges Nigerians To Imbibe Virtues

Alhaji Ahmed Matane, Secretary to the Niger State Government  (SSG), has called on Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of sacrifice, perseverance, tolerance, steadfastness and love for national unity.
In his Sallah message to mark the end of the Ramadan fasting, Matane, stressed the need for unity, discipline, trust, integrity and fear of God for the country to move forward.
He explained that the Ramadan fast was an opportunity for Muslim Ummah to deepen their relationship with God, charity, promote life of sacrifice and love for one another irrespective of religious, political or social affiliations.
He called on residents to adhere strictly to the safety protocols of COVID-19 such as wearing of Face Mask, adherence to social distancing, maintaining personal hygiene, regular hand washing with soap under running water, application of hand sanitiser.
“We must stay at home as advised by health experts among other several measures taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus,” he said.
Matane called for continuous prayers against the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the state and the country as a whole.
