The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Wing Mobilisation Vanguard has denounced the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for allegedly accusing Minister of State Defence, Hon Bello Mohammed Matawalle, of harassing opposition in the Northwest.
The group’s chairman, Alhaji Ashiru Tukur, described the allegations as baseless and cheap political propaganda aimed at tarnishing the image of the APC administration. He urged PDP elders to focus on resolving their internal crisis rather than making unfounded accusations.
Tukur stated that the PDP has a history of failure and has mastered the art of mischief to create political instability. He praised Minister Matawalle as a philanthropist who has donated to flood victims in the state, despite facing aggression from the PDP.
The group demanded an urgent apology from PDP leaders for their sponsored campaign against Minister Matawalle and other APC leaders. They urged Nigerians to be wary of those who seek to destroy the common interest for selfish reasons.
