Students from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, among others, have praised Senator Garba Musa Maidoki for his educational empowerment scholarship program. The initiative benefits 100-level students from seven universities nationwide, including:
– Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto
– Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Aliero
– Federal University of Agriculture Zuru
– Federal University Birnin Kebbi
– Ahmadu Bello University Zaria
– Bayero University Kano
– University of Jos
Each student receives N35,000. Beneficiaries Hauwa Umar and Habibu Musa Isgogo expressed gratitude, saying the scholarship will alleviate educational burdens and support their parents.
Senator Maidoki’s committee chairman, Professor Umar Ahmad Sanda, outlined the screening and payment procedure, ensuring transparency and efficiency. Over 100 students have been paid in Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, with subsequent payments to follow in other universities.
The program demonstrates Senator Maidoki’s commitment to education and youth development.
