Kebbi Government Pays N950 Million In Tuition, Examination Fees For 164 Key Science Academy Graduands

The Kebbi State Government has made a significant investment in the education of its citizens by paying N950 million in tuition and examination fees to Key Science Academy, Masaka, Abuja.

This generous gesture has enabled 164 students to receive their withheld certificates, paving the way for their future academic pursuits.

At the certificate presentation ceremony, Deputy Governor Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida urged the students to reciprocate the government’s kindness by excelling in their studies and striving for excellence. He highlighted Governor Nasir Idris’s commitment to education, stemming from his background as a professional teacher.

Dr. Halima Mohammed Bande, Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, praised Governor Nasir Idris’s unprecedented gesture, which has empowered students to continue their academic journeys. Some students had faced challenges securing admission to higher education due to the unavailability of original certificates, particularly those studying medicine and science subjects.

Ahmad Aminu Kadanho, speaking on behalf of the graduands, expressed gratitude to the state government and pledged support for Governor Nasir Idris led administration’s policies and programs.

The Ceremony Highlights Presentation of WAEC and NECO Certificates, while Graduands received their long-awaited certificates. This development demonstrates the Kebbi State Government’s dedication to education and its commitment to supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
