A 24-year-old man, Toheeb Salami, was on Friday docked in an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, for allegedly constituting nuisance.
The police charged Salami with conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
The Prosecution Counsel, Insp Foluke Adedosu, told the court that the defendant on Feb.12, at about 5 p.m, at the Liberty stadium area, Ibadan, conducted himself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace.
She said the offence is punishable under the provisions of Section 249 of the criminal laws of Oyo State, 2000.
Magistrate I. O. Osho admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case until April 27 for hearing.
