Community Leader Seeks Construction Of Road In Kwara

Alhaji Hussein Yaru, a community leader in Okuta, Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara, has called for the inclusion of the construction of Kosubosu-Kaima-BodeSaadu road in the 2021 Federal Government’s budget.

Yaru told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Illorin that the state government should liase with the federal government to include the construction of the road in the budget.

Kosubosu-Kama-Bodesaadu road, in Kwara North Senatorial District, which links the headquarters of three Local Government Areas is in bad state and waiting for construction.

According to the community leader, the inclusion of the road in the 2021 federal budget will improve the social and economic lives of residents of the areas.

He noted that the construction of the road would aide easy transportation of farm produce to major towns in the state.

Yaru urged the state government to endeavour to contact relevant organs of the federal government that would facilitate the construction of the road.

He, however, lauded the Speaker, Kwara House of Assembly, Mr Yakubu Danladi for constantly making appeals for the construction of the road.
