Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has described Mallam Abba Kyari, the late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, as “an impeccable leader”.
He said that Kyari’s demise was a monumental tragedy to Bauchi State because he was “a father, a brother and an In-law”.
He recalled telephone conversations he had with the deceased, saying that Kyari offered him some tips while they were both in isolation.
“Such tips helped me a great deal in my medication. It is a grievous moment for me.
“We will continue to emulate his qualities of discipline, patriotism and loyalty to the nation which played out in personal relationships. Abba Kyari was an exceptionally good Nigerian,” he declared.
Mohammed prayed God to grant Kyari paradise and solidify the President’s faith as he strives to come to terms with the inestimable loss.
